I've been baking professionally since 2012 but honestly, I started writing my own recipes at five. LOL! Trust me, my abilities have come a long way since then. Ask my family. I grew up overseas in Italy (pictured in the background), Indonesia, and Germany. I love to recreate classic international pastries and breads. I also enjoy making cakes for special occasions. Natural ingredients are important to me...real butter, real vanilla, no food dyes (with occasional exceptions).
Where the name Whisk & Spool originated
Sewing was another early passion of mine. I had an interior sewing workroom for a number of years. In 2017, I began a teaching business, instructing both baking and sewing to students of all ages.
